A small, multi-branched shrub which produces pink, 5 petaled single blooms for many weeks in early summer provding nectar and pollen. Attracts large number of native bees and bumble bees. Critcal as it provides nesting materials for native pollinators. Hips are produced in late summer and provide food for birds into the fall. Shares the same herbal properties of most other wild roses.
