Virginia Mountain-mint
Pycnanthemum virginianum
Delicate white flowers cluster on the tops of square stems. Aromatic leaves are narrow, lance-shaped. Virginia Mountain-mint is non-invasive, and flourishes with little care. Attracts bees and butterflies, including the Monarch. Has been used as a stimulant and tonic for convalescents. Excellent species for restoration and tolerates drought.
