Bromus latiglumis


A hardy perennial grass well-suited to both partially sunny and fully shaded environments, quickly establishing itself in these areas. This grass species prefers moist, clay or loamy soils and can reach a height of 1.5 m, with a vibrant green hue. It blooms in late summer and adds texture to shaded landscapes. 


Bromus latiglumis grows in clumps, providing a habitat for birds and small mammals. As a cool-season grass, it is most active in spring and fall, when soil temperatures tend to be cooler.
