Virginia Knotweed

Virginia Knotweed

Tovara virginiana

A member of the Buckwheat family. Tall spikes of many tiny white flowers appear in late summer. Tovara will spread fairly quickly and can be aggressive, but is relatively easy to control. Great for fall interest and a good backdrop planting in a woodland garden.
